Meet Annette🙏
Annette started teaching yoga 25 years ago after an invitation to lead a class from her teacher. As she was new to yoga herself she simultaneously taught and studied. This combination of growth in her own practice along with seeing growth in her students has influenced Annette’s sharing of the practice. She believes that we are own teachers and that on the mat we have can opportunity to re-connect with, nurture and take care of our whole selves, so that we can enjoy life more fully off the mat.
After several enjoyable years teaching in her own studio, Annette moved overseas with her family where she continued to teach and study Yoga . Annette has training in Hatha and Raja yoga and has received extensive teacher training with a concentration in the benefits of yoga for underserved communities. She has continued her education into Extension and Recovery yoga, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and Yoga for Seniors.
Annette’s full life of travel and family commitments has necessitated a place of rest and renewal and the practice of yoga has been that haven. It gives her great joy to share the many benefits of the practice with others.
