Meghan Smith

Vinyasa & Mindful Movement Instructor | Owner, Threaded Elements Yoga & Hot on Bank Yoga

Meghan began practicing yoga in 2006 and was certified in Power Vinyasa through North East Power Yoga in 2012. After a decade in corporate America, she left that path to open Hot on Bank in 2016, creating a space rooted in accessibility, depth, and evolution.

Her teaching blends reverence for yoga’s roots with a fascination for how it aligns with modern anatomy, neuroscience, and long-term movement sustainability. Whether guiding a strong vinyasa class or a gentle mindful flow, Meghan encourages students to move consciously, honor their own inner teacher, and explore each posture as a mirror for self-awareness.

Expect thoughtful sequencing, intelligent alignment, and an invitation to practice in a way that feels personal, kind, and sustainable - for life.

Keke Warfield

Power Vinyasa Instructor

Keke’s passion for fitness has kept her running, swimming, and weight lifting for most of her life. After the strain her body underwent from working in the restaurant business, Keke sought out yoga to combat chronic hip and leg pain. She soon discovered that yoga not only completely eradicated her pain but also strengthened and toned her body in ways that no other form of exercise had done. Now, she has been practicing yoga for the past 12 years. Through regular practice, Keke has found the emotional benefits of yoga to be even more profound than the physical ones. As she continues to develop her own practice as an individual and as an instructor, Keke’s belief that yoga is critical to whole-self wellness has deepened, as has her desire to share it with her community. Keke has her 200HR Yoga Teacher Certification through Recovery Yoga led by Elizabeth Johnstone and Lisa Bragaw.

Emily Mastriann

When she was pregnant with her first child, Emily found that yoga grounded her experience in a new way. Shortly after the birth of her first child in 2019, she completed a 200 hour vinyasa teacher training, shortly followed by an 85 hour prenatal and postpartum training.

In all of her classes, Emily creates a warm and inviting space for students to explore movement and breathwork, connecting both inward to their true Self and outward to their shared community. She is especially passionate about supporting women through the motherhood transition.

Outside of the studio, Emily enjoys dream-work and herbalism, and loves to spend time outdoors with her children and husband.

Meg Crocker

Vinyasa Instructor

Megs first yoga practice was in 2007. As a young(ish) mom and former athlete, she used it as a way to reconnect with herself. Meg spent the next ten years exploring various teachers and studios, until Meg landed at Hot on Bank, in 2017. After two years of taking all the classes and workshops Meghan Smith offered, she finally signed up for teacher training with the idea of strictly expanding her practice and not teaching - respectively graduating in 2019. Once experiencing the magic of the teachings, she felt a pull to share it with others and has been teaching and sharing ever since. Megs passion for yoga mirrors her passion for Ayurveda. A love for studying nutrition, the connection food has with the mind/body, the science behind Ayurveda resonates deeply as common sense. Meg believes we all have the power to heal ourselves through awareness and discipline.

Emily Adams

Vinyasa and Yin Instructor

Emily first started practicing yoga as a new way of exercising. At first, it didn’t stick, but what always brought her back to her mat was the fact that no other physical activity made her feel how she felt after a yoga class. For Emily, yoga has helped with anxiety, depression, grieving, and her overall mental health. Emily is a 200 hour RYT through hot on bank studying under Meghan smith. She teaches vinyasa, slow flow vinyasa and power vinyasa. She hopes to share with her students how to be kind to their minds and their bodies. When she isn’t practicing asana she can be found by the beach, with her family and friends, or up in Maine at her cottage on the lake.

Jeanne Meyer

Vinyasa Instructor

Jeanne has been a group fitness instructor for over thirty years, but originally came to yoga intending only to be a student. She never thought yoga was for her, as her mind was rarely at peace…which is exactly why yoga was for her! Jeanne began her practice in Washington, D.C. in 2017, and continued practicing after moving to Colorado Springs. At the studio in Colorado Springs, she found what she did not know she was looking for – community. At that point, she wanted to learn more about the history and practice of yoga, so she enrolled in the studio’s 200-hour teacher training program, with no intention of actually teaching. The joy of sharing yoga and all it has to offer, however, overcame her resistance and she discovered she loved to teach yoga, particularly all variations of vinyasa flow. When not in the studio, you’ll usually find Jeanne enjoying the outdoors with her service dog, Angel.

Jamie’s mission is to create an inclusive, safe, and welcoming space where everyone, regardless of experience level, can practice and thrive.

Paige Gildner

Vinyasa Instructor

Paige started practicing yoga in her living room in 2014 when she was looking for a way to slow down amidst the busy days of city life living in Brooklyn, NY. She found yoga gave her an opportunity to tune in and drop out, to reflect on what was going on internally, and to give herself space to breathe and grow. Over the past ten years, yoga has picked her up on her darkest days, brought her more joy on her good days, and has always been there to welcome her like an old friend.

Paige completed her 200-hr yoga teacher training at Y7 studio in New York City in March 2020 and went on to teach at Y7 from 2022-2024. She recently moved to Mystic with her husband and cat and has fallen in love with the people and the natural beauty of the area.

She sees yoga as a practice that can cultivate confidence, resilience, and growth and hopes her vinyasa classes leave her students feeling strong, empowered, and more intentionally connected with themselves.

Mackenzie Hamler

Gentle Vinyasa Instructor

Mackenzie first came to yoga as a teenager in high school, hoping to find something to help manage her stress. Yoga, for Mackenzie, was love at first practice. She was delighted to find something that was nourishing for her mentally, as it was physically.

In Mackenzie's classes, it is important to her that she create a space and offer a practice that is accessible to all. Mackenzie believes that yoga is for every-BODY, and strives to create an open space where each student feels welcomed.

Mackenzie provides ample modification and encourages her students to explore postures within their practice. Mackenzie aims to nurture a positive relationship between one’s mind and body.

Mackenzie's favorite type of yoga is a practice that provides both challenges and ease. She enjoys discovering how she may be able to find a sense of calm in challenging postures and exploring new sensations in less challenging postures.

In addition to yoga, Mackenzie loves music and going to live shows, gardening, and making art!

Mackenzie so excited to be offering space for students to act in self-care, connect to their inner wisdom, and find healing.

Megan Clabby

Vinyasa Instructor

Megan first came to yoga to maintain a sense of grounding in an otherwise constantly “on the go” lifestyle. Yoga showed her how to pause, slow down, and be in the present moment without judgment or expectation - something she had never allowed herself before off of her mat. As she continued to practice, yoga began to transform her life from the inside out. Her practice gave her the space to get to know herself and what she wanted in her life versus what societal expectation told her she should want. She will now never doubt her space and intention in the world because yoga has taught her to be a fierce advocate for herself, her body, and all her needs.

Megan believes there is no greater strength than honoring your body and mind through meeting yourself exactly where you are in the moment. Your mat is not going to judge however you show up on it- so neither should you!

Meghan hopes for all of her students to leave class with the confidence of using their power to make their yoga practice healing, easeful, and liberating! She hopes to guide her students to be compassionate to themselves with the ultimate goal to foster a greater sense of self-love and care.

Forever a student, yoga encourages Jacklyn to move freely on and off her mat, as well as deeply appreciate her body, mind, and spirit. As a teacher, she creates a safe, dynamic environment which encourages movement and gratitude in every body equally. Her classes offer students the opportunity to stretch, release, strengthen, breathe, rest and find alignment. She cultivates a playful, spirited, and accepting environment challenging to the experienced yogi as well as the newcomer. Jacklyn is thrilled to have any and every individual in her classes, always striving to embrace them wherever they are along their beautiful yoga journey.

Hannah Ward

Vinyasa Instructor

Hannah discovered her love for fitness in 2020 and has been on a journey ever since to find movement that feels most aligned with her. After exploring various forms of exercise, she found her way to Hot on Bank and instantly fell in love with yoga. While the gym remains one of her happy places, yoga has transformed her life both mentally and physically.

She appreciates how yoga invites her to slow down, release judgment, and engage in a practice that feels accessible and nurturing—no matter what the present moment brings. For Hannah, yoga offers a unique mind-body connection unlike anything she has experienced, and she adores the sense of community.

Hannah is a 200-hour RYT, graduating with Hot on Bank’s 2025 YTT cohort. She is excited and grateful to hold a welcoming, inclusive space for all students.

Outside the studio, Hannah works in career development for high school students and is a school counselor in-training. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, long walks, arts and crafts, and spending quality time with her family and pet rabbit.

When she’s not on her mat, you’ll likely find her engaged in her favorite activities: soaking up the sun at the beach, enjoying time with her overly spoiled dog, or curled up reading a book. On a perfect day, all three at once following a morning yoga sesh!

Vanessa Vaughn

Vinyasa and Yin Instructor

Vanessa was originally drawn to yoga after college because she was interested in the physical benefits of the practice. Through regular practice at a local hot yoga studio in her hometown of Maryville, TN, she soon discovered the incredible mental and emotional benefits of yoga. The mental clarity that she gets from regular practice is now the most important part of yoga for her.

She completed a 200hr YTT program at Alchemy Flow of Maryville (Tennessee) from October 2024 to April 2025. After completing her in-person YTT requirements, she relocated to Waterford. CT. The last step of her training to obtain her certification is to teach community classes, which is what led her to teaching at Hot on Bank. Vanessa is very excited and grateful to join the yoga community at Hot on Bank and wants her classes to be a calming and supportive sanctuary for students of all backgrounds. Her goal is to teach others that yoga is so much more than what we do on the mat; it is a lifelong practice that can be translated into everyday life.
